David HadawayCEO and Co-Founder
David helped start Altair in 2001. He is a seasoned marketing executive who focuses on defining corporate strategy, developing new products, and driving results. Before Altair, David spent time with Deluxe, Experian (formerly Metromail), and Merkle. When not at work, David is usually found at one of his three kids sporting events or struggling through a short jog or half of a P90X session.
Steve CollinsPresident and Co-Founder
Steve has his B.A. in Economics and business marketing from University of North Alabama. Before helping start Altair in 2001 he worked for Harland Clark, Alcott Routon, and Amsouth Bank. Steve is skilled in database marketing, analytics, and direct marketing. Other than work he enjoys cooking, is an avid Alabama fan, and spends time with his wife and 3 boys.
Mike MullicanCFO and Co-Founder
Mike's current role with Altair is in oversight of the financial, human resources, and legal aspects of the company's operations. Mike's prior experience includes 11 years as CFO/COO with the national marketing agency Alcott Routon, and before that as a CPA with the public accounting firm Kraft CPAs. Mike's outside interests include running, travel, and motorcycle rides through the countryside on his Honda Shadow.
Shane HelfenbergerVP of Data Operations
Shane oversees production, database development and IT. He completed a master's degree in Information Systems from MTSU and an undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University. Shane’s expertise lies in data analysis, quality improvement and business intelligence. Outside of work he loves to travel to new places, workout, and follow University of Kentucky athletics.
David HunterVP of Analytics
David earned his master's degree in Decision Sciences from Georgia State University. He has done analytics and predictive modeling with EDS, Equifax, and Bellsouth before joining Altair in 2006. David's areas of expertise include applied statistics, decision support systems and data mining. When not working with data, David can be found riding his bikes with his family or in races.
Jim AlcottVP of Strategy and Health Care Practice Lead
Jim formerly served as CEO of Alcott Routon and Alcott Marketing Science where he served the marketing and decision-support needs of leading brands in financial services, health care, education and luxury goods. He is the author of Big Miss: Ignoring the Laws and Underlying Forces of Marketing. Away from the office, Jim enjoys reading and working on his Middle Tennessee farm.
